Advertising in the Northern Highlands Explorer

The Northern Highlands Explorer was relaunched in November 2007 as a quarterly e-magazine carrying events, features, editorial and advertising specifically about outdoor activities in Caithness & Sutherland.  We have submitted several walks to www.walkingworld.com as downloadable walks, and this is a very powerful marketing tool for the walking market which can be used by accommodation providers.  The magazine is downloadable as a .pdf file and businesses can print it out on whatever quality paper they like for their guests, or, of course, potential visitors/visitors can download it themselves.  The e-magazine will be available from http://www.activities.iberacal.com and the link will be sent to our extensive database of contacts which include universities, TICs, outdoor activity centres, health centres, and previous visitors. There is a 25% discount for members of the Orkney Tourism Group. Basic advertisements will consist of 50 words of text and one photo in the e-magazine - cost £40 per year.
